I’m really sorry about that blog title. I just felt like I wanted to tie Hello May and my name together, as they rhymed. I’m sure I will regret this decision as soon as I hit post. Either way, needless to say, Im as happy as Larry to have the cover of Hello May (this is horrible, it’s like I can’t stop myself).
Anyway, if you are still reading, thank you. Hello May is an amazing wedding publication (and blog) with a super amount of awesomeness amongst it’s spreads. When I was approached by the legendary founder of Hello May (Sophie) to feature Yvonne and Boruch’s wedding in the pages of the (now current) issue, I was very happy, and of course, impressed with her choice of this particular wedding. The reason being, this wedding was extremely high on emotion, energy, dirty black and whites, and general crazy, messy, beauty, food, song, style all over the walls, cloths, tables and doors. In my opinion, it was the perfect wedding. And thankfully Sophie saw the potential in this beautiful celebration as well. Then, when Sophie told me that our beautiful (barefoot) bride and (killer kicks) groom where a hot ticket for the cover, I played it pretty cool but I was secretly very excited.
